Jack White's new band's new singles
Jack White, vocalist and guartist of the White Stripes and creator of some of the greatest music I've ever heard, has formed a band with friend Brendan Benson. The band is called The Raconteurs (one who excels at the telling of anecdotes). They have released two singles: Steady as She Goes (sounds like White singing in a Benson style); and Store Bought Bones (Benson singing the way he does, but with harder music behind, which does him more justice than his solo circus sounding music - that's my rock critic vocabulary and I'm sticking to it). Giddy up. The full album is due out in May 2005. How I can't wait. So I'll listen to these two songs and ruin them by the time the album comes out. Take a listen: http://theraconteurs.com/
